SELECTION OF POWER AND FREQUENCY OF HIGH-FREQUENCY WELDER

High-frequency welders have many models. One layer 50 KW for low-power welder,one layer 100KW for medium-power welder,one layer 200KW or 300KW for high-power welder.

1.The power choice is mainly based on the produced pipe type and the required production speed. In addition to high-frequency welder power there are many factors affect welding speed,such as: steel pipe wall thickness, diameter, material;inductor diameter,turns,copper tube;and the diameter, length, material, and cooling of the magnetic rod; the size of the steel pipe opening angle before the extrusion roller.etc.

Normally, we take the most steel pipe wall thickness produced by user as the main basis, when the wall thickness is about 1 mm, use 100KW welder; the wall thickness is about 2 mm,use 200KW welder. And so on, the wall thickness is about 8 mm, use 800KW welder. The larger the steel pipe diameter, the lower the speed. Under normal conditions, according to this principle, the speed can basically meet the requirements. In cases where there are special requirements for speed, special considerations are required.Large welders can weld small pipes, while small welders can weld large pipes, Just the speed is different.

Power choice should also consider the factory power supply capacity and price.

2.Frequency choice is simple.normally thin wall and small power welder frequency will high;thick wall and large power welder frequency will low.we can produce from 100KHZ to 600KHZ welder. Under Thoroughly welding,if frequency higher then will more save electricity.The welded heat affected zone is narrow.
