Like vacuum tube high frequency, although the basic principles are similar.solid state high frequency can also be classified into various types according to different requirements such as usage, components, power and frequency.
1.Classified by rectifying voltage regulation: Thyristors(SCR) can be used to complete simultaneous rectification and voltage regulation,or first use diode or thyristors rectifying and then use IGBT regulate voltage. Use IGBT regulate voltage is for improve equipment factor.can save electricity and further improve welding quality.
2.According to input terminal have transformer or not can classify two kinds, if front no transformer then normally after-back high frequency part will add high frequency transformer to realize isolation between inductor and grid. If have input transformer equipment then will divided external oil-immersed transformer and dry transformer.
3.According to the components used in the inverter bridge,there are low-voltage MOS(field effect transistor),high-voltage MOS,IGBT(lnsulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) and so on.Whether high-voltage or Low-voltage MOS,new type SIC-MOS components can instead them.Also IGBT have high-voltage and low-voltage etc.Sic MOS have the advantages of low loss,high withstand voltage,fast switching frequency etc.It is the current alternative components of normal MOS components, may also replace IGBT to become the first choice for low frequency equipment.Sic components can be used in all series of our company products.and after many on-site verification.customer can choose with confidence.

5.According to the installation method,there are two types:separated welder and compact welder.Separated welder means rectifier and inverter make two cabinets separately. Compact welder means rectifier cabinet and inverter cabinet make all-in-one cabinet.Both series and parallel have separated welder and compact welder.Generally low-power equipment choose compact welder and large power equipment choose separated welder.
6.ln the current market,series resonance normally uses high-voltage MOS or IGBT, and parallel resonance uses low-voltage MOS.No input step-down transformer for series resonance but high frequency transformer will need put after back inverter bridge.For parallel high frequency some need input step-down transformer and some need high frequency transformer after rectifying voltage regulation.
